Executive Coaching

A 21st century organisation has to be a team of balanced individuals with well-developed interpersonal, Work and Wellbeing, Leadership development and communication skills. These individuals should understand and appreciate differences, trust and support each other and work with commitment and energy.

As most of us know, changing old patterns and habits can be difficult. Executive Coaching is a catalyst for change and transformation and is about allowing people to achieve goals and dreams they previously thought impossible. It enables the development of emotional intelligence, mindfulness, character, personal maturity, leadership development, ethics and vision and talent development. All of which result in accelerated learning, good client and employee relationships, improved performance, accountability and sustainability.

The foundation of the holistic executive coaching experience lies in the coachee's discovery of his or her true self. It works by encouraging people to find their own answers to their own problems, then - crucially - giving them the individual support they need to see their ideas through to fruition. Which enables the individuals to become the best they can be, which results in the individual being balanced and effective leaders which will enhance their health and energy and work and wellbeing.

Sam believes people are the business and people, not processes, contribute the most to the success or failure of an organisation. The potential of any business is a function of the people in the business.

What can you expect from your Executive Coaching experience?

A confidential, safe environment to evolve and grow, where you will be challenged, questioned, supported, encouraged and stretched to excel in the direction of your goals.

Honesty - you can count on your coach to gently tell the truth and provide insights. Your coach clearly understands where you are heading and will be guiding and motivating you to achieve your desires.

Accountability - what could you achieve if you actually did what you keep telling yourself you "should" do? Your coach will hold you accountable to complete tasks, face fears, hold that important meeting, and do some of those others tasks that might be too easy to just let slide.

Goal setting and action planning - the goals created between the coach and coachee are measurable and there is evidence that the goal has been achieved in a specific and realistic timescale. The goal is always positive, documented and regularly reviewed to ensure that the goal is achieved.

How Executive Coaching Works

Coaching is usually done over the phone or face-to-face - both techniques are very effective. I generally coach clients weekly for 1 hour sessions. If you choose to have a telephone coaching session, you arrange to phone the coach at a regular specified time. The majority of clients have telephone coaching, because it gives them flexibility to attend the sessions without leaving the office or home and the majority of clients find it easier to open up on the phone.

*** All potential clients can have a (no-obligation) complimentary 20 minute introduction to coaching on the telephone ***

If you feel comfortable working with me after the complimentary session and would like to pursue the Executive Coaching relationship, we discuss how you would like to be coached, what duration of coaching you require per month and you will be sent a welcome pack. The pack includes some exercises for you to complete before the first coaching session to get an understanding of who you are and what you would like to achieve, enabling you to get the full benefit from the sessions. The coaching is payable one month in advance. If you book your coaching several months in advance, discounts may be available.

My clients usually work with me for a minimum of 3 months, because this enables the change process to take effect. Generally, clients choose to be coached for between 3 months to 1 year, sometimes even longer. It is always up to the client to choose what they would like to do.
